Terms and conditions

The terms for using this website and making a booking or viewing request.

About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and the booking and viewing requests you make through it. They are not your storage agreement. When you rent a unit you will sign or accept a separate storage agreement, and that agreement governs the storage itself, including payment, access, insurance and ending the rental.

In these terms, we and us mean Saxondale Self Storage, a trading name of Samworth Farms Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 07229858, registered office Farm Office, Stragglethorpe Grainstore, Nottingham Road, Cropwell Bishop, Nottingham NG12 2JU. Contact us at info@saxondaleselfstorage.co.uk or on 0300 124 7544.

Using this website

You may use the website for lawful, personal or business enquiries about storage. Please do not misuse it, try to disrupt it, or send us false, abusive or automated requests. We may restrict access if you do.

Prices and offers

Prices shown include VAT and are monthly guide prices for the 10ft and 20ft units unless stated. The price you pay is the live price confirmed to you at booking for that unit and those dates. Prices can change between your enquiry and your booking, and a padlock deposit may apply.

Offers, such as a first month at half price, apply on the conditions shown with the offer, may be withdrawn or changed, and cannot be combined unless we say so. A one month minimum may apply and you can cancel after that as set out in your storage agreement.

Booking and viewing requests

A request made on this website is not a confirmed booking. A unit is only reserved once we have confirmed availability and price to you and you have completed the storage agreement. We aim to reply within one working day but cannot guarantee it. No payment is taken through the website enquiry forms. If you book online, the booking pages run on our provider Stora, and the booking is completed there.

Cancelling and your statutory rights

How to end your rental, and any notice period, is set out in your storage agreement. If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights, including a right to cancel certain contracts made online or by phone. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

What you may store

Self storage is for household, business and similar goods. You must not store anything illegal, dangerous, flammable, perishable, or living, or anything that could damage the property or other customers' goods. The storage agreement lists the full restrictions.

Information on this website

We take care to keep the website accurate, but sizes, photographs, hours, availability and prices are for guidance and may change. Nothing here is a contractual promise until it is confirmed in your storage agreement.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused by the website being unavailable or by information on it being out of date. Insurance for stored goods is covered in your storage agreement.

Links and third parties

The website may link to other websites and use services such as maps and online booking. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Privacy and cookies

How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy policy, and how we use cookies and similar technologies in our Cookie policy.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also have rights under your local law. We may update these terms and the version on this page applies when you use the website.
